<p>As a Search Engine Optimization Engineer, you will work across systems and software engineering to help build and improve our search-ability<strong> on a maximum contract of 12 months</strong>. The SEO Engineer will work to ensure SEO is integrated throughout Nomad&#39;s product, so Nomad is easily accessed by our end users. They work closely with the engineering, product, and marketing teams to continue to improve our platform.&nbsp;<br><br>You will have the opportunity to use your analytical and technical skills to make an impact at a high-impact, healthcare tech company. <h3><strong>Responsibilities/What You Will Do</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Help implement changes ranging from accessibility and UX improvements to routing updates within React.js, Next.js, and Flask to improve overall SEO</li>
<li>Create and update Hygraph pages in order to empower marketing with our SEO efforts</li>
<li>Help engineers breakdown technical initiatives into actionable steps</li>
<li>Diagnose and repair performance issues, and build strategies with others to ensure high throughput</li>
<li>Be part of design and code reviews, providing architectural oversight and promoting tried and true design patterns</li>
<li>Own decisions around refactoring and strengthening the frontend ecosystem</li>
<li>Contributing to the growth and success of other members of the team through code review, documentation, and mentoring</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications/ Skills - What You Will Need</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of front-end engineering experience</li>
<li>Extensive experience with React.js</li>
<li>Extensive experience with CSS and with Material UI</li>
<li>Experience improving overall SEO performance</li>
<li>Has led multiple cross functional front-end initiatives</li>
<li>Strong understanding of the JavaScript language</li>
<li>Experience with Python and ideally with the Flask framework</li>
<li>Ability to refactor and/or re-architect front-end applications</li>
<li>Can guide technical decision making processes and discussions</li>
<li>Comfortable with sharing knowledge with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>
<li>Knowledge of and passion for current trends and best practices in front-end technologies</li>
<li>Nice to Have: Experience with Iterable</li>
